The chassis type OMC-100CE provides 18 slots 10/100Base-TX to 100FX media converter to link with the remote side media converter. Each media converter can be easily plugged in chassis and can be choice with range of single or dual fiber options. OMC-100CE supports console, telnet, web, and intelligent SNMP based network management.

IP-TV and Multimedia broadband applications drive the need for FTTH. Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network (GE-PON), standardized in IEEE 802.3ah, is the most promising FTTH technology.
