Tailyn Communication Company, Ltd. Adds SMT Line
Taoyuan, Taiwan — Tailyn Communication Company, Ltd., an advanced electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, has enhanced its manufacturing capabilities with the addition of a new surface mount technology (SMT) line.
"We've seen good growth this year in our customer base in telecommunications and industrial personal computing applications. This has driven both a need for added SMT line capacity and enhanced placement capabilities. The new line will help us address our customers' needs for more densely populated PCBAs with smaller componentry and package-on-package (POP) elements. The combination of additional equipment and faster placement speeds increases production capacity by 89%," said Jim Chen, vice president, Communications Business Unit.
The line includes a DEK/Horizon solder paste printing machine, Panasonic CM602 high speed mounter, Panasonic DT401 multi-function mounter, a Heller 1912EXL nitrogen reflow oven and a TRI 7500 serial AOI unit.
